Small and Family Foundations Roundtable – September 2016

A strong funder/grantee relationship is key to effective philanthropy. Do you view your grantees as partners? How do you provide them with feedback and engage in open dialogue about projects and issues you care about?

At this session, members discussed methods to strengthen relationships based on articles from “Putting Grantees at the Center of Philanthropy,” a new series on grantee inclusion by the Stanford Social Innovation Review and Grantmakers for Effective Organizations. Though participants were not required to read it, we explored common barriers noted in the series and how to overcome them within small and family foundations.

This program was only open to AGF members.
