Arizona Grantmakers Forum has elected Belen Gonzalez, Program Officer at the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, as AGF Board Chair for 2014, as well as elected three new board members to serve on the AGF Board of Directors in 2014.
“I am excited to welcome Belen Gonzalez as our new board chair. She has served on the AGF board for several years, chairing the Program, Governance and Strategic Planning committees. With her extensive knowledge of community issues and her commitment to the mission of AGF, she will be an outstanding leader,” said President and CEO of Arizona Grantmakers Forum, Marissa Theisen.
In addition to new Board leadership, AGF also elected three new board members for 2014. New board members include Suzanne Pfister, CEO of St. Luke’s Health Initiatives; Mary Thomson, Vice President, Program Administration, BHHS Legacy Foundation; Mollie Trivers, Executive Director, Whiteman Foundation
Theisen said, “AGF’s newest board members bring with them additional skills and fresh perspectives which will be very helpful for our organization as we implement our new three-year strategic plan. These board members come from some of the top grantmaking organizations in the state, bringing diverse experiences from their work in philanthropy.”
