NOTE: This program is now a webinar.

Arizona needs at least 100,00 affordable houses or apartments, but federal funding—the main tool for creating additional affordable housing units in the state—only covers about 2,000 of those homes. How did this problem arise, and what is philanthropy’s role in addressing the housing needs of Arizona residents?

Join your fellow members to hear from Joan Serviss and Joanna Carr of the Arizona Housing Coalition who will share root causes of the lack of affordable housing and how it relates to wealth, education and health inequalities. Following the presentation, Suzanne Pfister of Vitalyst Health Foundation will moderate a panel discussion to understand how the philanthropic sector is prioritizing this issue with the recently launched Arizona Housing Fund, among other initiatives.
