REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. At the heart of every nonprofit and philanthropic professional is the question, “Is what I’m doing making a difference in the lives of people we serve?” The answer to this question can be hard to answer given the complexity of the social conditions we are working to change.
AGF’s Evaluating for Impact affinity group would like to invite you to the upcoming TAP Talk in partnership with the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, St. Luke’s Health Initiatives and ASU’s Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation. This is a unique opportunity to engage with funders and nonprofits to identify what impact measurements matter for your organization and theirs. Together we will begin to identify what type of support is needed to meaningfully measure the real impact of an organization’s efforts. We will tap into a national conversation by Grantmakers for Effective Organizations about new ways people are thinking about measuring impact.
AGF co-sponsored a similar program in Flagstaff in June that was highly rated by both funders and nonprofits, so we decided to replicate it here in Phoenix. This is the first TAP Talk co-designed and co-facilitated with key capacity builders in Maricopa County. We hope many funders will attend, sharing perspectives and creating a robust learning experience for all.
