Small & Family Foundations Roundtable

20181108

To RSVP, please email Kalisha Bass by Friday, November 2.
Seating is limited. Lunch will be provided.

Arizona nonprofits have become a significant contributor to the state, driving the economy and social development in our communities. With this growth comes its own set of challenges for the sector, including increased need for capacity building and financial support to maximize impact and sustainability. In some of the country’s largest cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City, funders have come together to establish their own formal partnerships to address those challenges and support enduring nonprofit collaborations without shifting their own priorities. How can philanthropy set the example for Arizona nonprofits through a formation of a similar collaborative in our state?

Please join your fellow AGF members from small and family foundations to hear from The Lodestar Foundation President Lois Savage who will discuss this opportunity, provide an update on how the collaborative is developing and answer your questions. You can review the collaborative case statement here.

At this session, members also will share current projects, opportunities and challenges in their work. We hope to see you there!
