Parlour Discussion: “Start With Why”

November 14, 2012
Location: Tuck Shop

Martin Luther King Jr., Steve Jobs, and the Wright Brothers all started with “why.” Simon Sinek uses these famous examples and other real-life stories to give readers a clear picture of what it really takes to lead and inspire. His book, Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action, explains his powerful concept of the Golden Circle, and how applying it can lead to greater innovation, influence, and results.

A group of philanthropy professionals met at Tuck Shop the evening of November 14th to discuss the simple, profound idea of Start With Why, and how professionals in the foundation world apply this concept in our organizational work.
