New Leaders New Vision in Arizona Philanthropy

20141105

Over the past year, a number of Arizona’s largest philanthropic institutions have undergone major leadership changes, representing a seismic shift in what is a traditionally stable ecosystem, with historically low staff turn over.

These dynamic new leaders are taking the helm at a time when Arizona, and the world, face significant challenges on many fronts. Some of these leaders come from out of state; bringing new perspectives that can open up new possibilities. Others are long-time Arizona residents with extensive knowledge of the state. They all bring bold ideas to advance philanthropy and create positive change in our communities.

With over 80 people in attendance, we heard from these new leaders about their plans for the future and the excitement and innovation they bring to the table.
