Greater Than Giving: 2018 Annual Meeting & Holiday Luncheon

Registration is required for all Arizona Grantmakers Forum events. We welcome board members, trustees and staff at all levels from AGF member organizations to attend. AGF meetings and programs are only open to AGF members unless otherwise noted.

Charitable giving is breaking records in America with contributions exceeding $400 billion in a single year for the first time in 2017, but does this generosity effectively address the root causes of the social issues we face today?

Please join us for our annual meeting and holiday luncheon to hear from Anand Giridharadaswho will deliver his key insights from the most-talked-about book in philanthropy this year, Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World. Together, we will examine philanthropy’s blind spots to appropriately leverage influence and strengthen support of the vital work nonprofits do each day to effect real change.

We hope you can attend this timely and thought-provoking presentation, as well as participate in our annual member meeting where we will announce our 2019 board of directors, present our 2019-2021 strategic plan, reflect on all we have achieved together this year and preview coming attractions for AGF members in the year ahead.

Foundation leaders, board and staff are encouraged to attend. Registration is expected to fill up quickly, so be sure to sign up early!
