Arizona Grantmakers Forum affinity groups convene grantmakers with common interests. Each group provides opportunities for funders to share knowledge, encourage collaborative funding and learn about policy issues that affect the well-being of those living in Arizona communities. AGF members may participate in as many affinity groups as they choose.
Some affinity groups are based on a particular issue area, like education or health. Other affinity groups are formed around foundation type, such as corporate or small and family foundations. Others exist to develop professional skills, like the Professional Development group. All groups emphasize networking and information exchange among fellow grantmakers, local and national experts, thought leaders and more.
One of the greatest strengths of Arizona Grantmakers Forum is the dedicated leadership of our members. Serving on an AGF committee is an excellent opportunity for members to volunteer in a way that fits their interests, expertise and schedule. Your service enables AGF to operate with a small staff, while still offering top-notch educational programs, affinity groups and valuable member services throughout the year. Committee members serve one one-year term, renewable at the end of the calendar year.
